MAY SALE HIGHLIGHTS

The oriental market is still on fire and this was clear to see in our Early Summer Sale. The star lot was a small bronze censer which had had much pre sale interest. Bidding came from all corners of the globe, with the lot eventually selling to an online bidder for £5,400. The series of Neopolitan gouaches, lots 178 through to 181, also had a huge amount of interest. The most popular of the four, lot 181, selling for £4,600
