BIDDING IN PERSON
Please register in the office for a bidding number. When you have finished bidding, please proceed to the office to pay for your items.
COMMISSION BIDS
If you are unable to attend the sale in person, bids may be left with the auctioneers. These will be executed as cheaply as other bids and reserves allow.
Please complete a commission bid form, giving the maximum hammer price that you are prepared to pay on your chosen lots. Bids should be telephoned through or handed in by 5.00pm the day prior to the sale.
A successful bid is confirmed by invoice.
TELEPHONE BIDS (Fine Art Sales only)
These must be booked in advance. Please contact us with your postal address, contact telephone numbers and the lots you wish to bid on before sale day.
Telephone bids are subject to availability and are normally not available for lots estimated at less than £100.
On sale day we will telephone you a few minutes before your lot and talk you through the bidding. Typically the auctioneer will start by taking bids in the room and then invite those bidding by telephone to bid.
