Philip, by now, has had considerable practice conducting all sorts of auctions for all sorts of causes, and is becoming quite a pro at After Dinner Speeches, "An Auctioneer's Lot" theatre performances, speaking at Literary Lunches, offering his expertise at antique roadshows and valuation events, and not forgetting to mention of course, plenty of experience talking to local WI, etc.

  
His various talks are drawn from his own life experiences; whether it be in the sporting arena, the auction business, his knowledge of antiques, TV and radio, including his latest achievements as an ‘author’ (a term which he still can’t quite get used to!) He is able to adapt his style accordingly whether it takes a more informative tone or a series of entertaining anecdotes.
